Tuition Fee
Participation costs for EU/EEA citizens
The tuition fee of the Euroculture Programme is a result of a complicated calculation of the total costs and
other funding in the member universities. It was calculated by the consortium as a common admission fee
of the whole consortium. The fee will account for all the fees that the students are normally asked to pay in
the individual universities in all the four semesters, including the tuition fee, the diploma fees, registration
fees etc. The fee is € 8000 including insurance; without the insurance the fee is calculated to € 7100.
The total amount of € 7100 (or € 8000 with insurance) is to be paid to the University of
Groningen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), which then redistributes the fees to the individual
universities.
The students may apply for an additional consortium waiver, which has not been set yet for 2012-2014. For 2011-2013 it was € 2000.
The system of the payment is organized by the coordinating institution, the University of Groningen. For further information see the consortium website or contact the general coordinator of the programme (euroculture@rug.nl).
The students can ask for financial support from various programmes – for more details see Scholarships.
Participation costs for all other countries
For citizens of all other countries (non-EU and non-EEA), the tuition fee is € 16 000. Payment is due to the University of Groningen, Netherlands. For details see the consortium consortium website.
