Admission requirements and selection criteria
Admission may be granted to applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must have already obtained a first higher education degree (Bachelor's degree) in a discipline of relevance to the fields of European culture and history, European studies with a focus on cultural relations, or intercultural studies.
- Candidates must meet certain languages skills: English is a precondition (a TOEFL score of 580 points old style, or 92 points new style, or a score 6.5 of IELTS) and other European languages are taken into consideration in the selection process.
- Study Mobility Periods abroad and Practical experience in European and/or international organisations and institutions is valued.
- Completed application forms received.
Selection criteria include motivation; academic qualifications; language skills (preferably in European languages); research experience and professional experience.
Applications MUST include the following documents:
- Completed application form
- Academic credentials, with copy of Diploma and, if available, Diploma Supplement
- Certified copies of academic transcripts
- Academic and professional CV
- Letter of motivation
- English proficiency test (Cambridge Advance Certificate, TOEFL test results 580)
- 3 passport-sized photos
- 2 reference letters
- A copy of the applicant's passport
