Welcome
Euroculture Master programme is a unique, multilingual, interdisciplinary and inter- university project combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It stands out as a programme of excellence and has been selected by the European Commission as the Erasmus Mundus Master Course.
The focus of the programme is on cultural and social developments in Europe, its identity, values, citizenship and cultural relations. It aims to prepare graduates for wide range of professions in which understanding of European issues is of relevance (universities, media, diplomacy, European and government institutions, NGOs).
The load of the programme is 120 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) points which represents 4 semesters of full time study. For more information visit the website of the consortium.
It is conducted jointly by eight renowned European universities which provide double degrees (MA in Euroculture):
- Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic)
- Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland)
- University of Deusto (Bilboa, Spain)
- University of Groningen (The Netherlands)
- University of Göttingen (Germany)
- University of Strasbourg (France)
- University of Udine (Italy)
- University of Uppsala (Sweden)
In 2010 four third-country universities have been included as full partners. Each of the third-country institutions offers a place of study to five European students per cohort for the duration of one semester:
- Indiana University – IUPUI Campus (United States)
- University of Osaka (Japan)
- University of Pune (India)
- National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico)
